A twenty six year veteran of the IT Services industry, Bernie is the Founder and Chairman of CompuVision Systems Inc. and CompuVision System, USA Inc.

 

The business concept of CompuVision was originally developed in 1992 while Bernie was attending Computer Systems Technology at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). In Bernie’s last term at NAIT he was required to develop a fictitious business plan that would demonstrate and utilize all of the education he attained while at NAIT. Bernie’s business plan detailed many unique concepts of a computer service business that would generate a recurring revenue stream for the company while providing valued IT services to the small and medium business sector.

 

In September of 1992, Bernie implemented his business plan and CompuVision was born.

 

By choosing a different focus than most IT organizations, with a concentration on service first, Bernie was able to differentiate his organization in the early stages. Since then, the company has constantly pushed to develop new and innovative ways to not only maintain its competitive advantage, but, also to increase its service focus, delivery, scope and abilities.

 

Bernie is a strong advocate of the concept of building a strong team. He has surrounded himself with the best people and organizations possible. By doing so he is confident in the fact that sound decisions are made with the best possible support structures. It is only with the support of these teams that he has been able to achieve the growth and success that the organization has undergone.
